Does anybody know what worship is?
Worship is to honor God. What does it mean to honor God? We want to give him praise and to say thank you for all of the things God has done. Did you know that the Bible says when we pray and ask God for things, we should do it with a thankful heart? What kinds of things can you thank God for?
So, how do we worship? Walk me through your church service at your church. We sing, we pray, we hear the pastor preach, and then we take communion every week. We do specific things to show our praise for God. But worship is more than that.
